Terms and Conditions

Making A Purchase

Making a purchase is easy through our website. Just browse our store, and add any items that you wish to buy into the shopping cart. After you have finished your selection, click on 'Checkout' and you will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to complete the order.

We accept credit and debit card payments on-line via PayPoint.net. We also accept payments through PayPal's secure payment server. Please note you DO NOT need a PayPal account to pay via card although you may pay using funds from your PayPal account if you have one.

We will also accept payments via cheque made payable to Global Telesat Communications Ltd. Please contact us to discuss your order. We will confirm receipt and despatch your order when your cheque is cleared.

If you experience problems making a payment through the website please check you have entered your email address, your name, address and particularly your postcode correctly. If this still does not resolve the problem please call +44(0)1202 607486.

When confirmation of order is received, this is to indicate that we have received your order. It does not indicate that a contract exists between us. We will indicate acceptance of your order when full payment has cleared, and hence a contract between us. Your Invoice will be included with the goods. We have included this term to protect us in the case that a mistake has been made in pricing, we have inadvertently under-priced goods, or we are no longer able to supply a particular product for some reason. In the case of a change of price, we will always contact you first to ensure that the price is acceptable.

Shipping And Handling

To find out delivery charges just add goods to the basket and then click Checkout, select destination and the delivery charge will be displayed.

No goods will be shipped without payment in full by credit/debit card or cheque payable to Global Telesat Communications Ltd. Goods are supplied subject to conditions of sale. We do not relinquish title of these goods until payment is received in full.

Delivery Schedule

Orders are dispatched same day when in stock. For UPS same day dispatch please order before 2pm. For Royal Mail dispatch please order before 4pm. If goods are placed on back order we will inform you by email and offer a refund if necessary. If your order is urgent please let us know and will do our best to get the goods to you as soon as possible.

You must inform us within two working days if the goods are lost or damaged in transit so that we can make a prompt claim against the delivery company and correct the problem. Please quote your order number in all correspondence.

You agree that proof of delivery supplied by our delivery company is sufficient evidence to establish that goods have been received.

Tax Charges

For orders with a delivery address within the UK or the European Union 20% VAT is added. All other orders are VAT free.

Credit Card Security

When the order is placed at our website, credit card numbers are encrypted using 128 bit encryption through the PayPal secure system and GTC do not have access to your card details. The order and address details are only decrypted after they reach our computer. They are not held in clear text on any website.

Guarantee

We guarantee your satisfaction. Goods that are received damaged or faulty will be replaced immediately.

Please notify us immediately by email or phone if you find the goods damaged upon receipt and we will replace immediately. If you decide you no longer require the goods within 7 days of receipt we offer a full refund less any carriage charges. Just return the goods in original packing as new and we will refund your payment card. For returned goods over 7 days after receipt we reserve the right to charge a re-stocking charge. Goods that have been used will not warrant a full refund but this will be considered on an individual basis.

GTC do not disclose buyers' information to third parties other than when order details are processed as part of the order fulfilment. In this case, the third party will not disclose any of the details to any other third party.

Cookies are used on this shopping site to keep track of the contents of your shopping cart, to store delivery addresses if the address book is used and to store your details if you select the 'Remember Me' Option. They are also used after you have logged on as part of that process. Returns Policy

Satellite phones and terminals need a direct line of sight from the antenna to the satellite in order to function. As a result phones will not work inside buildings or vehicles unless used with the appropriate external antenna. Use of satellite service may also be prevented in outdoor locations with trees, hills, mountains, buildings or other similar structures or geographical features in close proximity.
