The SPOT Hug allows all the same reliable features as the SPOT Satellite GPS Messenger, but is directly based for maritime users.

The SPOT Hug allows users to monitor their vessels wherever they are in the world sending daily location messages including GPS positions and sensor alerts. The sensor alerts include battery voltage, high water level, door/hatch intrusion, smoke/fire and more. Every message or alert that the device transmits will be available for any designated user to view through Google Maps.
