BGAN X-Stream is Inmarsat's newest and fastest ever streaming service offering guaranteed streaming data rates from a minimum of 384kbps up to approximately 450kbps. These are the fastest on demand rates available in the world of mobile satellite communications.

BGAN X-Stream will appeal to BGAN customers who utilise bandwidth-hungry applications, and in particular UDP applications such as video streaming e.g. broadcast media and government users.

This service is available to use on either the Hughes HNS 9201 or the Thrane & Thrane Explorer 700 satellite terminal. These highly compact, portable terminals require no additional antennas or hardware and the service has been tested and configured to work with the leading professional video applications and codecs.
