Global Telesat Communications is now offering the Thrane & Thrane Explorer 500 for satellite terminal rental. The Explorer 500 provides speeds of up to 464 kbps and has a very simple "plug & play" interface.

The Explorer 500 uses Inmarsat's I-4 satellites to provide a reliable and quick connection to keep you in contact with friends, family or colleagues where ever you are in Inmarsat's coverage.

For satellite terminal rentals lasting less than 2 months airtime charges are calculated at the end of your rental period and charges will be taken from your refundable deposit.

For satellite terminal rentals lasting longer than 2 months, an airtime invoice will be issued on a monthly basis and payment will be due immediately.


1. Download and complete the rental order form (link below).

2. On receipt of your order form we will confirm booking of the sat phone rental.

3. We will then require payment of set-up fee, deposit and weekly rental charges.

4. Free dispatch by UPS in time for your rental start date.

5. Free collection by UPS at the end of your rental period.

Please note, we recommend booking your sat phone rental as early as possible to avoid disappointment.

All of our rentals have a 4 week minimum rental period. If you require equipment for a shorter period please contact us.
