The first BGAN terminal capable of accessing Inmarsat’s new high data rate (HDR) service will be unveiled at the NAB Show in Las Vegas, Nevada. Cobham SATCOM’s EXPLORER 710 will support a game-changing service for satellite broadcasters – delivering an expected streaming rate of about 650kbps with its full channel option for higher quality video newsgathering. The new terminal will be launched at the annual broadcasting event on 8-11 April and in a series of live video webinars to the global media industry.
